The Lochgoilhead Centre is now looking forward to recruiting for Instructor positions for the season of 2009.
For an instructor position you must have at least one of the following (or higher) and a first aid qualification:
Senior Dinghy Instructor
Dinghy Instructor
SPA (Trained or Assessed)
Mountain Leader (Trained or Assessed)
BCU Kayak Level 2
BCU Kayak Level 3
BCU Canoe Level 2
UKCC Level 1 Kayak/Canoe Coach
UKCC Level 2 Kayak/Canoe Coach
RYA Safety Boat Driver
RYA Powerboat Instructor
Additional qualifications on top of at least one of the above:
BOF level 1
GNAS Archery Leader
Power Boat Level 2
Bell Boat Helm
Canoe Safety Test or Foundation Safety and Rescue
Trail Cycle Leader Assessed or OTC Trail Leader
Advanced Sailing Module (e.g seamanship skills)
UKCC 3* Kayak

Freelance Instructors
The Lochgoilhead Centre uses, from time to time, freelance visiting instructors. If you are in such a position and wish to be considered for work you must hold full National Governing Body awards and a current First Aid certificate. Further information can be obtained by contacting the Activities Manager.
