Making the Booking
Make a no obligation Provisional Booking
To ensure the dates you require are available, call the Centre on
01301 703217, and make a provisional booking. We will hold this booking for up to 30 days.
You will be sent a Booking Form and information on prices if you do not already have them.
Return the completed Booking Form
To confirm your booking return the form within the 30 days along with a booking fee of 10% of the total booking.
Interim Payment
A further 30% will become payable 2 months prior to your visit.
Final Payment
The final balance is due 1 month prior to your visit.
Terms & Conditions
We require a non-returnable booking fee of 10% of the full cost of the booking. We will not accept bookings without a booking fee. We will hold provisional bookings for a maximum of 30 days after which, unless we are in receipt of your booking fee, the booking will be deemed to have lapsed.
A further 30% will become payable 2 months prior to your visit.
Full payment is due at least 1 month prior to your visit and you will be liable for 100% of fees for cancellations with less than 1 month before your visit. We will invoice you separately at the end of your stay for any additional meals, badge and authorisation courses etc carried out during the visit as well as breakages or missing and lost equipment.
Bookings made within 2 months of the date of the visit will require a 40% non-returnable booking fee.
If you cancel more than 2 months prior to your visit there is no additional cancellation fee although you will lose the booking fee.
Cancellations less than 2 months but more than 1 month in advance of the visit attract a cancellation fee of 40% of the full fee.
If your numbers fluctuate within 10% of the numbers booked at this stage, (ie more than a month before the start of your visit) then there will be no cancellation fee for the reduced numbers.
Bookings for skills courses, ie Powerboat, Mountain Leader, First Aid etc, must be paid for, in full, at the time of booking.
Payment is by cheque to "The Scout Association". We can also accept credit card payments by phone.
We strongly advise that clients take out insurance against cancellation.
