Secondary Induction or Primary Cluster Weeks

Today working together plays an integral part in education and bringing together groups of young people from different primary schools means a period of adjustment and settling in. In an increasingly popular way to ease the transition from primary school to secondary, Lochgoilhead works with schools to help make the transition period easier for pupils and schools.

Support

When you make contact with us, our Programme Manager will work with you to design your visit to your specific needs. Five, four and three day options are available. Teacher support prior to, during and after your visit to the Centre is given. We will happily visit your school to talk with teachers, pupils and parents.

In the pressurised world of education today the Lochgoilhead Centre knows how difficult it is to justify time away from school, so why not formalise all the benefits we know children gain from a residential experience and link it into the curriculum. Ideas and worksheets for pre and post visit periods are already available in many areas of the 5–14 curriculum and are available on our downloads page.

The Lochgoilhead Centre is also working with schools to develop a Curriculum for Excellence.
